Is it too late?

I will be taking the MCAT in april 05 and applying for med schools next summer, but I have a shot to do reseach at a neurology department in a Hospital next summer (application time). And I was wondering if is too late to take part of it.

That is most certainly not too late.

You will still be able to put it on your application (as if that's the only reason to do research), at least your secondaries, and you can also talk about it during interviews, so it will do you some good.

it sounds like an interesting experience. i think you should take advantage of it. even if you havent done research, it will show that you still have an interest in it. plus, when an adcom member asks what you've been doing, you will have something to tell them.
