Hello all,
I was wondering how Adcom's may potentially view me taking on one light semester (10-12 credits) so as to work a second job to help my mother out with some bills. I have worked full time while taking 15-19 credits/semester up until this point and have maintained a 4.0gpa so I think I can handle it. The reason why I need to do this is because my father and mother divorced a number of years ago and he makes a lot of money so my mother never had to work. Ever since the divorce she has worked long hours, however, she is getting older now and cannot keep working as much as she used to so she needs a well deserved break. I feel as though I owe it to her. Will this be looked at unfavorably in the eyes of Adcoms??
