Join SDN as we welcome Dr. Christopher Lunsford, a Pediatric Physiatrist specializing in Pediatric Rehabilitation Medicine. He is Co-Director of the Duke Cerebral Palsy and Related Conditions (CPRC) clinic as well as clinical stakeholder in programs for Surgical Spasticity evaluations and Pediatric Spinal Cord Injury. His research includes cerebral palsy and spinal cord injury interventions, disability advocacy, virtual reality assisted therapy, and rehabilitation care coordination.
Dr. Lunsford completed medical school at UNC-Chapel Hill, completed his Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation residency at the University of Virginia, and fellowship at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center. He was a fellow in Pediatric Rehabilitation Medicine at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center. He started his current position as an Assistant Professor at Duke School of Medicine after several years holding the same rank at the University of Virginia.
