It's a very good program and the folks there are very nice. It produces high quality, and very visible, research and graduate students often are leading authors on many of those projects. The folks that I know from there have spoken very highly of the atmosphere and support offered. Kent state's assessment track is one of, if not the, strongest personality assessment program in the country.
Edit to add: The assessment track is where my experience with folks is from; I can't speak to other faculty/aspects of the school/program. I'm not a student there/never was, but I have encountered many who are/were, so that is the impression I have formed based on my conversations with folks at varying stages in their development.
