hello everyone :) how are you?

I hope that you are doing well. I am currently a first year dental student, and I am trying to study dental anatomy, but I feel overwhelmed with the amount of detail. For every tooth, there is like a full page of all the different characteristics/trends, and I feel overwhelmed with all the detail. I don't know what to do.

My school offers me a question bank of NBDE part 1 practice questions - and after looking through the practice questions, and their explanations, I feel like I can't memorize that much detail in dental anatomy.

Do you have any advice on learning dental anatomy?

What helped me for the posteriors was to draw the teeth and label each fossa, ridge, etc. I used colors to make the landmarks stand out in my mind.

Have you tried waxing teeth?
