I recently had an abstract accepted for presentation at collegiate conference, but I am trying to decide if it will be worth the cost of flight, etc. Any input appreciated.

It seems worth going to for the chance to put something on your CV, network, hear some cool speakers (really good lineup this year), and win prize money if your project is good (might make up for the flight), but it's only a cheap bus ride away for me. I don't know about an expensive flight. And because it's a conference set up by college students, it doesn't have as much clout as say the AACR or SFN conferences. See if you can get financial support from your lab, department, etc.

So did you like it? Hope you had a blast, I sure did.
