Liver functions?

What are the list of functions of liver that I have to know for the MCAT?

EK. Just google search the fundamental functions of the liver.

- stores and creates glycogen (storage in response to insulin)
- releases glycogen as glucose (response to glucagon)
- bile synthesis
- recieves nutrients from small intestine via hepatic portal vein.

there are others, but these are the essential ones for the MCAT
