My grandmother has been diagnosed to be in a very advanced stage of cancer. We're trying to send her back home to the Philippines. Most of her family is there, and that's where she'll be buried. Money is a serious issue, and we're very concerned that she won't get government support while she's there, particularly Medicare and Social Security. Even if she has to give that all up, we still need to find a way to acquire whatever cancer drugs she'll take the edge off suffering.

Again, money is a serious issue, severe enough that we may not be able to send her home, and that she may have to be cremated so we can afford to send her there to be buried. It sucks, but this is our reality.

Time is of the essence as we need to get our things in order, and get her on a plane before she's barred from traveling.

Any advice folks? Please.
