Hi all,

I am applying to medical schools this summer. My cGPA is 3.4 while my sGPA is a 3.75 and could soon be bumped to a 3.8

I am wondering how far my cGPA will drag me down when applying to US M.D. schools or whether my sGPA will (hopefully) overshadow it.

Any experience or advice with this?

Thanks

Like with most of these threads it's hard to say without an MCAT score. Should be in WAMC btw

3.4 isn't horrible - I think I had something similar to you. Ok cGPA and high sGPA. It worked out fine.

I explained my cGPA (one semester of 2.0 - I didn't even realize I was enrolled - long story)

Hope ur MCAT was good then.
