Hello, I don't believe that I have seen anything about the difference between these two licenses on here, but of course my apologies if there is a similar thread. Also please leave me a link to such a thread if it exists.
I am wondering if Maine is the only state that has a LCPC licensure and if so would it be better for someone looking to live outside the state of Maine to receive an LPC (I have already ruled out obtaining my LCSW because I don't share the same philosophy and am really not that interested in the curriculum)? Also what are the differences between the two licenses, LPC and LCPC, besides the fact that it looks like more states in are seeking the LPC?
