Hello everyone!

I'll get straight to the point.
cGPA (UG): 3.1
sGPA (UG): 3.2
cGPA (MS): 3.1

MCAT (June '12): 28Q
Taking the MCAT (June 5th...yikes!)

I applied in the 2013 cycle: 1 interview, 1 waitlist @ GWU

BS Biochemistry // MS Chemistry
Lots of great activities and leadership roles:

• VP of graduate student body
• ER volunteer
• Published twice in 2014
• Lots of shadowing experience
• Teaching Assistant/Research Assistant
• GREAT LORs

I talked with an admissions representative who mentioned that my "new" app, as opposed to the one I applied with right out of undergrad looks a lot better (and a better MCAT will help even more).

What are my chances?! Thanks!

GPA is weak and hasn't improved since last year.... How much improvement do you expect on the MCAT? Have you considered DO?

Hoping for a 3-5 point boost! I am hesitant to consider DO, but I will apply to St. George's in a few months, as their deadlines are much later (save some $$$).

Have you done ANY reading on these forums. I doubt you will save money applying to SGU. I'm sure people will be here soon to tell you not to even think of applying/going to SGU in the mean time search DO vs SGU!
