I have been preparing for the MCAT for about a month already and am taking it at the end of August. I am working minimally (lab a couple hours a week) in order to put in the time to do well. However, I am just having a hard time from the mental standpoint. I took the old MCAT in December and it was a crash and burn situation. I procrastinated, got meningitis, and was cheated on. While I have moved on from all of that, I am just experiencing a lot of anxiety for round 2. I am not sleeping well at night which is throwing off my schedule. I am trying to have some fun with friends but feel like my dating life is just taking a toll on me (so yes I am done dating.) I am just wondering if anyone has some helpful advice for getting through these couple of months.
