I'm a Junior majoring in molecular biology and planning to take MCAT right before the senior year, which starts in August 2014. Right now Spring 2014 is coming to an end, and I'm gonna take the whole summer off, quit my job, go home and study the whole summer from scratch and then take MCAT by the late august, right before Fall 2014. I'm graduating by the end of spring 2015. Am I too late? Will I have to take a year off before applying, assuming that I will get through MCAT fine.

Depending on which college you are applying to. Some college are at a first come, first serve basis. Others, have year around enrollment. Just check which college you want to apply too and submit your information before the deadline.
