At the MCAT test center, how do breaks work? If we go over the 10 minute break time, will the next section start automatically start after the 10 minute break ends even if we're not there to take the test yet?

At the MCAT test center, how do breaks work? If we go over the 10 minute break time, will the next section start automatically start after the 10 minute break ends even if we're not there to take the test yet?

Yup. 10 minutes isn't nearly 10 minutes. You also have to allow time to check out and check back in. It is very regimented. It is nothing more than a very quick clear your head, eat an energy bar, take a drink, use the rest room, get back. The 10 minutes is counted down on the computer, just like a FL. There is no screwing around. You can't stop the clock.

Yes OP, use your time wisely like KnightDoc had mentioned. I remember my exam skipped my first 10 minute break and immediately threw me into the next session. I had some very weird computer issues during my test day.
