MCAT2015 Retake Question

I got my preliminary percentile rank ranges today and wasn't too happy about them. I'm applying this fall and have my application already verified. I want to retake the exam in August.

So my question is should I go head and do secondaries and mention that I'm retaking the exam? Or is it to late and that will be the scores schools are going to be using?

Take all the time you need to get the score you need, then apply early (next cycle).
Even strong applicants have an uphill struggle with a late application. Don't risk a second weak score due to haste.
