Med-Peds and FP in the same clinic

I'm a med-peds resident and plan on starting my own practice in a small town when I am finished. A friend of mine is doing family medicine and we have talked about him joining me in my practice.

I was wondering if anyone who is in a similar setup could comment on what has worked and not worked with that kind of arrangement. How best to use each of our strengths? We have entertained the idea of him running an after hours urgent care in the office. So comments by people in a setting like that would be helpful as well.
