I have vision only in one eye since birth, this has not hindered in my studies, research or social activities. I am a grade A student and am graduating next year. Does any one know if this situation will in any way impact my studies at med school or medical career or be considered negatively by med school admissions committees? I am planning to include my surgery and recovery in the personal statement, will it jeopardize my chance to be admitted to med school?

I would really appreciate response from some one who has had experience in similar situation.

Thanks
