- Honors College at the University of South Carolina
- Biological Sciences Major, Health Promotion Education and Behavior Minor
Stats:
- GPA: 3.9, Science GPA: 3.77
- MCAT: 505 (Chem- 125, Bio-126, p/s- 126, CARS- 128)
Extracurriculars:
- On the Dance Team- over 2000 hours
- Colon Cancer Research- 1750 hours
- Gives health education presentations to freshman through Student Health Services ~120 hours
- Dance Marathon Volunteer for Children's Miracle Network Hospitals ~80 hours
- Shadowing/Volunteer internship (got cut early due to COVID 19) ~ 100 hours
- 4 different grants funding research, publication in progress
Other Information:
- SES EO1 Disadvantaged
- Both Parents diagnosed with Stage 4 Cancer, Father passed away when I was 16
- Graduated High School in 3 years at the age of 17
Also I am unsure of my first generation status. Neither of my parents attended a 4 year college, my mom has an associates degree
Any advice on how to improve my application/where to apply?
