Merit Aid before March?

Do any schools give merit aid with their admissions decisions or before the common date in March? When is the common date anyway?

I know WashU and Pritzker release a lot of aid before December. Obviously, only non-rolling schools can release aid before March.

Yes, some schools do (WashU and Pritzker as mentioned above). Some of the Texas state schools also provide merit scholarships with their acceptances earlier in the year. You'd be best suited checking out previous years' school-specific threads to see when schools give out merit aid if you're curious about certain institutions.
