Mild confusion about eras dates

I'm getting mixed answers on this. I was under the impression as long as we submit eras on 9/26, we are considered on time and no disadvantage. Past that date, the app is considered late.

If a student submits 9/10 vs 9/26, do residencies review these apps 9/10 first then 9/26? Or are they timestamps the same?

They are the same. Everything submitted before the eras opening date is dated the same

Apps get sorted in whatever way a PD wants - scores, signaling, school status (MD, DO, IMG).

But they don’t even have the ability to view what date you submitted it as long as it’s before the 27th.

Don’t wait till the 26th though. There is always chance for malfunction.
