missouri? ATSU? Such a small class and mostly OOS..why?

Are there just enough people living in missouri? Why are the applicant/matriculants mostly OOOS?
33 out of 42 acceptances were out of state.

The class itself is small, so the chance of getting in still could be not too easy, but seems like this might be a good school for p[eople looking for back up Out of state school.

What yalll think>?

Keep in mind that UMKC is legally obligated to take 80-90 Missouri residents every year, and is charging <$40,000 tuition + fees. Compare that to, what, $80,000/yr for AT Still?

With all due respect to the individuals accepted/attending AT Still, the 80 strongest Missouri dental applicants are, by and large, at UMKC for half the price.

Didn't they start interviewing in May that year? By that time, seems in-staters were either settled on and deposited elsewhere or perhaps only a couple weeks away from re-applying. It just wasn't the same application pool at that point that you'd find with schools who interviewed up to 9 months earlier.
