    What is the expected mixed venous oxygen tension, in mmHg, in a normal adult after breathing 100% oxygen for 10 min?

    a. 573
    b. 563
    c. 150
    d. 95
    e. 45

    Please discuss.

    100% oxygen for 10 min doesn't change your arterial O2 content by much. A normal adult will still have a svo2 around 70-75, or an O2 tension around 40-45.
