MPH for Medical Writing?

Hey, I'm an undergrad lined up for the MCAT in the next few months, but lately I've been getting more interested in PH policy/admin. Can people practically break into medical writing careers with an MPH like that, or is that kind of writing more of an ancillary market for MDs/Pharmacology? I'm an English major, and our department has a generous slew of technical/STEM writing courses, so I want to jump on those soon if there's opportunity in that area.

Sorry if that all sounds vague, but looking for information on STEM writing jobs has yielded pretty vague results so far. Job criteria seem to vary widely from company to company.
