I recently changed my last name with my testing organization (NABP) and everything has been updated on their end. On the Pearson Vue website my name still shows up with my old last name. NABP assured me that it does not matter what the website says my name is. I should not worry about this and just schedule my test. NABP assured me that when I show up to the testing center with my new name on my IDs the testing center will admit me in under my new name. BUT when I called Pearson Vue customer service they could not find a profile for me under my new name.
I am wondering if what I am being told by NABP is true. Is there anyone out there who has used Pearson Vue and has changed their name and told that it doesn't matter if the name on their Pearson online profile matches the name on the ID but as long as the Board has your name correct you will be admitted to take your test?
