I just wanted to remind everyone in OT school to register your disabilities: it pays off when they are an obstacle to your performance. I have ADHD and I registered this with my school disability office and I had an accommodation on file for 1.5x test taking, and a separate test taking area.
When you go to take the NBCOT they will ask for proof of your previous accommodations to support the request you have for extra time etc. I got double time on the NBCOT and a separate quiet test taking area. I strongly suggest it. It is worth it, I have heard of so many people saying they felt pressed for time. With double test taking time you can relax, take a break, come back and finish. You can get accommodations for extra time due to headaches (migranes etc), depression, anxiety, ADD, etc.
