One in particular, has no idea that i am in this program.

First, I'm sorry to hear about your family issues right now, especially the loss of a parent. That would be very tough to handle for sure.

If you are accepted, though, you will have to submit all transcripts up to that point in your academic career, this program included. I'm not an adcom, but I feel that this will look very shady to them that you were in this program and did not disclose that. But perhaps I'm not reading this right? Please correct me if I'm off here.

Edit - How bad are you doing right now? Like real bad? I would think completing the program, regardless of a lower GPA, would be better than withdrawing, but I could be wrong. However, these are definitely extenuating circumstances that would make school very difficult.
