Hello,
I am a pharmacist who recently immigrated to Canada and am planning to start my career here. As part of the US education system for pharmacy, I have a Doctorate in Pharmacy, whereas in Canada it is not a requirement. In order to utilize my degree more efficiently, I wanted to obtain a clinical pharmacist position. My question now is whether having a doctorate degree from US is enough to gain a position or doing a year residency is requirement for a job as a clinical pharmacist as it is in United states?
What is the difference in pay of a Clinical, hospital and a retail pharmacist?
Any information and advise from practicing pharmacists is highly appreciated as it will help me make an informed decision
Thank You
