It seems like scheduling is extremely variable and there are some common ones like 7 on/7 off and M-F 8-5.
For 7 on/7 off, do people usually mean 7 DAY shifts of say 7am-7pm, with call some of these nights (depending on set up with other physicians)? This may be a dumb question, but for EM, you'd be expected to work half of those as NIGHT shifts (ex: 7pm-7am). Just wanted to make sure this isn't the case for neurohospitalists.
Also, I've read that neurointervention or NCC will be generally "busy" during call times. What about call for a general neurohospitalist or vascular fellows? I know this is different everywhere, but what is "likely"?
