Hi guys, I'm an IMG and have been scheduled for a neurosurgery subinternship at MGH. I need some advice...where to live, cost, books to use(I've heard about Greenberg, is that enough?), how to go about the whole rotation, etc.

I'd really appreciate any help here, thanx!

I'd suggest checking out rotatingroom.com for a place to stay. I'm sure there are plenty of places available in Boston. You could also contact the school since many of them offer places or keep a list of students willing to rent extra rooms.

I would recommend staying in Beacon Hill while there, unless you plan on bringing a car. Public transportation doesn't run early enough, so you'll want to be within walking distance. It's expensive but worth it. Check out the Harvard med school website for visiting students, they have something similar to rotating room's set up on there and you can search by zip code, I think.
