A lot of us in here are former medics and EMTs too - but my point was that s/he probably has some specific questions - so go ahead and ask them. As a EMT-B you just learned a whole host of brand new skills that you're super excited about using - so just go out and work on some real patients and get better at them. But bean2 (I would kill for the ability to superscript that) is right - you'll probably get better advice over in EMS.
