Hi group. I have a question regarding New York's 12 week rule. Does anyone know if the 12 week rule also applies to fellowship training? I know that when I was applying for residency I was unable to apply to NY programs. Does being licensed in another state impact anything? I spoke with two different people at the New York board of medicine and they told me that I would just need to fill out 2 forms (Form 1 CE and Form 2cc). From there, the application for licensure would go for review and that I shouldn't have a problem. I wasn't very convinced that they were well versed on this subject however. Does anyone have any personal experience with this?
