Yes I do realize it, but I figured with those of us trying to apply this coming cycle, it's nice to have a little bit of inspiration. Never claimed this was a current event lol

I don't really think I said anything to make it sound that way but ok lol. Either way, it's a nice reminder and something to reach towards. No one in my pre-med circle at school has brought it up recently but I also go to a PWI so the URM pre-med community is VERY small haha

Oh yeah. He went to my high school (DeBakey High School for Health Professions.) That school churns out a lot of amazing people. Also, it help disadvantaged students too.
