Hey guys!

I've been invited to an interview at NOVA for the OD program. I was wondering if anyone has already gone to the interview and would be ale to tell me about the style of interview? Is it one on one? A panel?

Thank you!

I haven't, but could I ask you when you submitted your optomcas form? I'm also hoping to get an interview from NOVA and it's been a while since I've submitted.

Hey!
When I went to NOVA for my interview, two people did the actual interviewing. Treat the whole day as an interview though! We had lunch with Dr. Bacigalupi, who is the Assistant Dean of Student Affairs! And we are with the admissions people for tours and stuff all day!

And for @thisboy I submitted my OptomCas in early November, got a supplemental after a week, then interview request about 10 days after that. There is still time though!

Hey! I interviewed at NOVA and I thought it was a great interview. The day started out in the main area at the Health Professions building and they got started with the interviews. You have an admissions person who sits with you most of day and informs you of all that NOVA has to offer. He also answered a ton of questions! They do a round of interviews in the morning and a round in the afternoon. In between the sets of interviews, you have a tour and lunch with current students. The actual interview was with two people. It was not intimidating at all. After the afternoon interviews, you have the option of going on a tour of the entire campus. I would do it if you are seriously considering NOVA. Have fun with it! Good luck!
