I have always been impressed by people who can cite studies by name to justify their practice. The job I am looking at for next year is an FP residency sites where Pediatricians are heavily involved in teaching basic nursery and level I/II NICU knowledge. What studies do you think are essential/impressive for a NICU/Nursery Pediatrician to know? I'm hoping to start a running list here.

I can't cite the study because I haven't bothered to look it up yet, but there's apparently a study (or two...) showing that deep suctioning during resuscitation doesn't change outcomes. Seems like a good one to know.
