Is what I was told by a psychiatrist in the city I recently took that inpatient job in(haven't started yet but do soon).

My initial response was TOO NICE. By far. Basically said I'm not sure of the specifics of the contract the old provider(an np basically) had it's the hospital, but my contract states very clearly that no other psychiatrists. ill admit, see, bill, etc as long as I am there. And that if he does have an outpt that is admitted to the unit under my care he is encouraged to forward a history/notes.

But then he says he doesn't understand(?) and he has akaysw admitted a patient or to a month in the past and that he may talk to hospital administrator. Good luck on that, because that's a nonstarter as long as I am there. And if the hospital does let him see his patients there I'll sue them for breach if contract the next day.
