I know a lot of schools require that prereqs were taken within a certain time range, like within the last 5 years. Does this mean 5 years from when you finished your bachelor's, or 5 years in actual time?

Ex: I apply to a school that begins in August 2016. I graduated with my bachelor's in 2013, but I took A & P as a freshman so it was taken in Fall 2009. Would this be counted as within the 5 year limit, or not?

I would double check with each specific program you're interested in, but for the ones I looked into, the time period was from the time of application. So for example, if you apply in 2015 and there's a 5 year limit, you should have taken the prerequisite some time between 2010 and 2015. A lot of my schools had 10 year limits and I took a lot of the courses about 11 years ago so I had to take them again :p

Hope that helps!
