Does anyone have information on the average age of the practicing OMFS and the percentage breakdown by age groups? I know the ADA publishes data on general dentists, but I wanted to know if there will be a shortage of OMFS in the near future due to retirement of older practicing surgeons.
Also, does anyone know how many dental offices are needed to support an OMFS practice?
