For those of you that have a "no opiates for fibro" policy (assuming no other severe pain generator that otherwise justifies opiates) what is your single best reference, article, or peer reviewed source that you would refer to, to show that opiates worsen or don't help fibro?

It's funny, you'd think that burdeon of proof for any medical therapy would be published, peer-reviewed, articles demonstrating efficacy. But opioids got a big pass for 20yrs and now- unlike any other ligitimate medical therapy- we are asked to provide evidence to prove they don't work.

A bass-ackwards presumption of efficacy; thanks for that legacy Russ and Purdue.
