I'm an ms 2 at an osteopathic school. I'm going to take the USMLE and COMLEX. I've been reading what you guys are saying about scores to get in and what not. But if you want to get into a stroke fellowship program, do you need a publication?

In general, if you do a residency in neurology at a place, is it competitive to get into a stroke fellowship program at the same place?

Does anyone know a D.O. in neurocritical care?

any advice will be great.

I know of one program which is ACGME accredited and also has an osteopathic neuro, program. MSU (Michigan State Univ). The program director is also DO and they also have a stroke fellowship. But this is a very new program.
The other program is Penn State Univ at Hershey. Their pd is also a DO, but i am not sure they have a stroke fellowship. I remember UC Davis, MC of virginia and U Conn had some DOs in their program, but not sure whether they have stroke fellowships. There must be other programs too.
