If you are in alternate list that means that you are wait-listed meaning that if a student who has been accepted doesn't attend to the program, that spot will be given to the somebody who is in the wait list. And if you are rejected , it means that you have no chance at all to be accepted.

I was accepted back in may, have you heard anything about an orientation or anything after the acceptance? I called a week ago and they said they are registering students for the whole year and will be sending blackboard logins but i still haven't received anything
