i am desperately in need of any info regarding the quality of the fellowship
under Prof Beaule at Ottawa.
Iam a resident in the UK and wanted to have a brief idea before committing for the fellowship.
got a 6 month offer from Feb - Aug 2014,
mailed me about the funding and expenses as below:
"In regards to financing, we cover administrative costs for the fellowship:
-registration at the university
-licensing cost
-malpractice coverage.
As for living expenses, for a 6 month rotation we have limited funds which depends on the capacity for the individual to secure their own funding but we can usually provide between 15 000 and 25000 CDN dollars. Also I believe there is housing
Available within the hospital which is more affordable and can help."
i would really like yo know-
any first hand experience?
cost of living and is the above a good offer(will i be out of pocket?/) for 6 months?
