I am interested in Pulm/CCM as a fellowship . I have been reviewing online, as well as FRIEDA and program web pages, but the info is sparse.

My ideal program:

a program that trains clinicians, more so than researchers (i.e. a program that offers more clinical training and does not require a 4th year of research).

Offers sleep fellowship (either integrated or as a 4th year).

Provides excellent training in both pulm and ccm.

Non-malignant.

Anyone heard of any programs that fit the bill? (I have no geographic preferences)
Any info would be greatly appreciated.

Thats the Holistic Lung healing program in Timbuktoo!

Just kidding.

pros and cons everywhere- a lot of programs out there are decent.

Anyone have any info or heard anything on the P/CCM programs in Chicago? Esp UIC, UC and Northwestern?

Hello,

Does anyone have any information about if MSPE is a 'MUST' for applications? I know it varies from program to program. I am an IMG and the concept of MSPE is not known outside the US. So I probably will not be ale to submit one. Any experience/houghts are welcome. Thanks!

U of C is a very academic program and has a required 4th year for research.
