each of the foll required for viral antigen recognition by CD4+ T helper cells except :

-viral replication in host cells
-cleavage of viral proteins into small peptides
-transport of viral peptides to a cell surface by MHC class II molecules

-binding of the T cell's tcr to MHC class II bound viral peptide

-internalization of virus ( or viral protein ) by an antigen presenting cell

also plz help with this question

-prevotella intermedia is first detectable in the oral cavity

1.at birth

2. adolescence

3. immediately before periodontal disease

4. long after periodontal disease appears

vasodilation n increased vascular permeability in area of inflammation for several days indicate

-formation of granulation tisue

- endothelial cell damage and disruption

coagulase production by staphylococcus aureus is imp in its pathogenicity becoz :

-helps to establish a typical abscess lesion

- establish a cellulitis lesion

-allows the organism to tightly adhere to tissue

? all of the following Shifts the curve to Right except one –
1.) metabolic acidosis, 2. Respiratory acidosis 3. Increase in CO 4. Increase in Temp

Left side of Jugular foramen has which nerve ? vagus or Glossopharyngeal

Prevotella intermedia csause juvenile perdontitis,
so im confused it should be at adolescence or no. 3

facial nerve after exiting the stylomastoid formen gives rise to

buccal/mandibular/temporal/zygomatic/stylohyoid/post auricular/diagastric branches.

Zygomatic n temporal supply the orbicularis oculi.

Cerebral aqueduct connets the 3rd ventricle to the 4th ventricle. Since lateral n 3rd ventricle are invloved obstruction is distal to 3rd ventricle.

The last tooth to show first evidence of calcification is man 3rd molar by age 9. Dental almina is functionally complete.

r u really sure that the life of dental lamina is 9 years ?
according to orbans the toatl activity of the dental lamina is 5 years
dental lamina disappears after the initiation .then the initiation of the 3 rd molar is 4 th or 5th year of life according to orbans then i think the nas should be 5 years
please correct me if wrong

How it can be long after PDL disease , it itself the cause for periodontitis??????????????????

yup Gaya is right , life span o dental lamina is 5 yrs , i have thoroughly checked on webiste too

hi,

actually i have this same question in my decks.. i as u guessed thought that it could be jusr bfor periodontitis.. but the answer given was long after the beginig of gingival desiase

this book that i read mentions that dental lamina is the only tissue that has the unique ability to give rise to tooth germ thicknenig... and under no circumstances are 3rd mmolar toothbud evidence at age 5.. so pls can forward the source of u r info.. the website..

yaah u r right 3rd molar calcification start at 7-8 or even upto 9 years
so dental lamina age should be upto 9yr

hi please can u send u r source of reference .i referred textbook of oral histology orbans please help with this question .because already in this forum there has been confusion about this question.

Ans:
1) Increase in CO, this will Shift the Hb dissociation curve to left.
2) Vagus

ans:
1) increase in co, this will shift the hb dissociation curve to left.
2) vagus

hi

you are right!! I got this wrong this time too.. :((( co moves the curve to left. While respiratoy acidosis will increase the hco3 whic ll increse the ph so moves to right.. Sorry for the mistake..

I didnt understant wht this question on juglar formen is asking pls can u explain tht...

HI ITS NOT MWNTIONED CLEARLY IN MY BOOK BOUT DENTAL LAMINA.. ALL IT SAYA IS, THAT DENTAL LAMINA IS THE ONLY TISSUE THT HAS THE ABILITY TO GIVE RISE TO TOOTH GERM AND THT IT UNDERGOES DISSOULTION FOLLWING FORMATION OF ALL TOOTH GERM, U CAN SAY I APPLIED MY LOGIC, SINCE NO TOOTH GERM FOR 3MOLARS IS AVAILABNLE AT AGE 5 BUT IF ORBANS HAS CLEARLY/PRECISELY MENTIONED THT DENTAL LAMINA IS ACTIVE FOR ONLY 5 YEARS, I LL GOW TIH THT. SO PLS READ THT STUFF AGAIN IF POSSIBLE N CONFIRM, I HAVE MENTIONED WHT WAS AVAILABLE FRM MY SOURCE OF INFO..
