Hi all,
I'd like to go the part-time MPH route, and I was wondering what people thought of it at BU specifically (but anywhere is helpful). Did you find the school/schedule to be accomodating? Did you get any financial aid/loans/scholarships? How many part-time students are there total? Does admissions look favorably towards those who are working full-time, or do they see it as a detriment (will it help or hurt admissions chances)? How long did/will it take for you to complete your degree? Did you change jobs during/after your degree at all?
Any help would be much appreciated, there doesn't seem to be too much discussion about part-time students and/or Boston University SPH lately. Thanks!
