Has PCO gotten their act together?
I know they were having problems with their basic sciences and passing part one of the boards.

Yes, the school has developed a new curriculum to help students understand the material consistently while being able to be in clinic as soon as the first week you begin. The class of 2022 had gone through a substantial curriculum review which maintains PCO's goal of early clinical exposure as well as extensive preparation tools to not only prepare students for Part 1 but still get the early clinical exposure PCO is known to provide traditionally.

Since the changes have been made, the pass rates have gone up significantly. Changes include having the students remain on campus from January to March while taking Part 1 and still remain in clinic one day a week. With the support of peers and faculty by remaining on campus, the stats have shown major improvements.

So you would recommend the school now? Do you know that part 1 pass rate? Thank you.

Yes, I do. The Class of 2020 had a 81% first time pass rate while nationally it is at 79%
