I know the pentose phosphate pathway occurs in the cytosol.
Peroxisomes contains enzymes that are involved in the pentose pathway enzyme. In this figure, is it saying that there is an anti-transporter for these enzymes? What is the correlation between the PPP and peroxisomes?
The NADPH generated in the PPP oxidative phase can be used to synthesize Fatty acids. Peroxisomes can breakdown fatty acid with B-oxidation through hydrogen peroxide.
Is there some sort of relationship I'm missing?

Thanks in advance!

From my understanding, the PPP regenerates NADPH in the cell is to prevent oxidative stress. It reduces glutathione via glutathione reductace, which converts reactive H2O2 into H2O by glutathione peroxidase.
