Personal Statement Advice/Readers for Nontrads

Hello All!


Looking for a little advice, guidance, anecdotes (experiences) on your perspective of the PS for a nontrad.

My PS sounds...off, so any help is good help. Share how your experiences and how you as a nontrad approached the PS.

Also curious if anyone is willing to read, or would like theirs read. While I'm struggling with my own PS, I do have literary/writing experience which might be of some benefit.

Obviously there are more expectations of a non-trad PS. What have you done with your adult life thus far? Why medicine? Why now? Why not another field in health care? Do you really know what you're getting yourself in to? What do you add to the class that a 22 year old will not?
