Hello friends!
I'm a long-time lurker here, and am finally posting to offer my help to those working on application essays. I majored in English and completed the pre-med track at my school, worked at our Writing Center for four years as a tutor/consultant, have won a few creative writing prizes, and I edit academic articles as part of my current job. I applied to MD programs last summer, and ended up with 5 interview invites and many positive comments on my personal statement. I'm happy to help with any aspect of the writing process: brainstorming, content editing, or polishing up sentence mechanics.
I'm asking for $40 to review a personal statement. I am also willing to review work/activity write-ups, edit secondary app essays, or have skype/phone sessions; we can discuss fees based on your needs. If you're interested or have any questions, email me at [email protected].
