Duke Radiology has an unexpected opening beginning July 1, 2024 for a PGY3 (R2) position, and can consider applications for both IR and DR residency positions.
The Duke department of radiology has always prided itself on its residency training. Duke offers in-person readouts, independent resident call, and daily didactic sessions by a world-class radiology faculty. DR residency provides the opportunity to participate in Duke’s renowned 3/2 program which offers a flexible R4 year and a guaranteed fellowship in a diagnostic radiology discipline. IR training is based on graduated autonomy throughout training, with senior residents performing the full spectrum of IR procedures as first operator. Duke has consistently trained excellent radiologists who practice at prestigious academic institutions and elite private practices across the country. Throughout the department, excellent training is accompanied by a relaxed and collegial atmosphere.
Duke GME offers competitive salary and benefits, and the Research Triangle region of Raleigh, Durham, and Chapel Hill NC is consistently ranked among the best places to live in the country. More information can be found at the Duke Radiology website: Home | Duke Department of Radiology
