I will be graduating with a B.S. in May. Only half of the med school requirements were needed to complete my program. I plan to enroll in a post-bach program to finish it off. My question is...Do I have to complete the whole post-bach program, and take the courses again (that I have previously taken with my BS program), or can I just take the courses I need from the post-bach program and start applying to med school.

Thanks in advance

do a DIY or more informal post bac rather than a formal one.

That way you just take what you have left to do

Thank you......

Anyone else?..Feel free to chime in

You're not going to find a formal structured postbac for people who are half done with the prereqs. Look at Berkeley Extension and Harvard Extension for examples of programs that cater to students who need to do a la carte postbac work.

If you have anything less than a B in the prereqs you've taken so far, then you need to retake, otherwise retakes are not reasonable.
